We’re Gleeful About NeNe’s New Role

(December 23, 2011) – We’re not sure why, but we’re thrilled to learn that NeNe Leakes will have a reoccurring role on Glee. She’s set to play Roz Washington, the school’s synchronized swimming coach. And we simply could not be happier for her. From what we’ve read online, she’ll appear on at least two episodes and she’s set to go toe-to-toe with Sue Sylvester, William McKinley High School’s cheerleading coach.
We have loved Jane Lynch, who plays Sue, since we first discovered her while watching the spectacular mockumentary Best in Show. But for whatever reason we never took the time to check out Glee to find out why everyone loves that show so much. But now that we know NeNe is joining the cast, we’ll definitely be tuning in.
